Back in September 2025, we covered Relic Abyss right here on PinoyGaming.net — isang Pinoy-made anime roguelite from a three-person Filipino studio called Reverse Loop that was gearing up for Steam Early Access. We were excited. We said to watch out for it.
Well, update na: it’s out, and it delivered.
Relic Abyss officially launched on Steam Early Access on April 13, 2026, developed by Reverse Loop and published by Mameshiba Games. And the community response has been genuinely positive — recent reviews in the last 30 days are sitting at Very Positive with 87% approval, and overall reviews at Mostly Positive with 75% across 66 user ratings. Para sa isang small indie team na tatlong tao lang, that’s a real win.
If you missed our original coverage, here’s a quick refresher on what the game is: Relic Abyss is an anime-inspired bullet heaven roguelite RPG — think Vampire Survivors, but with the chaos slowly ramping up as you level up your character during each run. It’s set in a Fantasy x Sci-fi world filled with heroes, magic, and lost technology — centered around a mystery tied to a world-devouring Abyss. May solid lore ito, may deep build system, and that distinct 90s anime look na nag-set sa kanya apart from your typical survivor-style game.
One thing we highlighted sa aming previous article was the console release — and that’s still very much on the table. The full version is planned for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S later in 2026. Console players, hindi pa huli ang lahat.
