Microsoft Vista SP2 Beta Released

Microsoft released the first beta of its Service Pack 2 (SP2) for Vista operating system both for 32 and 64 bit.  SP2 includes all the hot fixes and security updates from the time SP1 was wrapped up through October 2008.

SP2 includes numerous improvements to Vista including better power management, Windows Search 4 and Blu-ray data recording.

The latest beta can be downloaded as a stand-alone installer or as an automatic update via Windows Update.  Microsoft posted
