TL;DR: Two small studios sent us co-op games built for chaotic group sessions. Too Angry to Clean lets up to four players drop entire buildings on undead hordes using magic, with a Steam playtest open now ahead of a Q1 2027 release. Boss Toss is a 1-4 player boss-fight game where you rally a ball between teammates before smashing it back at the boss, and its free Steam demo is out now.
If your barkada’s group chat is always asking “ano laro natin tonight?”, these two are worth a look. Both are built around one simple idea that gets messy fast once friends join in.
Too Angry to Clean: the house is your weapon
Grim Page Studio’s Too Angry to Clean is a third-person co-op action game for PC with a great hook: every building is a weapon. Instead of shooting the undead one by one, you use magic to bring houses, towers and whole castles crashing down on them.
Here’s what the studio says is in the game:
- Nine spells for tearing structures apart
- Ten fully destructible worlds
- Smart undead that besiege whatever cover you’re hiding behind
- A campaign for one to four players with three difficulty levels
- A PvP mode and a challenge arena for when the co-op gets too friendly
The full release is planned on Steam for the first quarter of 2027, but playtest sign-ups are already open on the Steam page. The game has also picked up coverage in Taiwan and China, through 4Gamers Taiwan and Gcores, so it’s already getting attention in Asia. Kung gusto mo ng game where the collateral damage is the point, add this to your wishlist.
Boss Toss: volleyball, but the ball wants you dead
Boss Toss comes from Storm of madness, a team in South Korea’s AI·SW Maestro program, a government-backed training program for software developers. The game was first revealed on October 19, 2026.
The idea is simple. Bosses launch balls at your team. You and up to three teammates hit each ball back and forth to power it up, then send it back at the boss. The more you pass, the faster and stronger the ball gets. The catch? It can also hit your own teammates, so one bad pass can turn smooth teamwork into total chaos.
The free demo is on Steam now, and a run takes about 20 minutes, so it’s an easy one to try on a weeknight. Wala kang barkada online? It can be played solo too.
Which one should you try first?
If you want something you can play right now for free, go with Boss Toss. Download the demo, grab one to three friends, and see who becomes the team’s “accidental” ball magnet. If you’re more into big, loud destruction and don’t mind waiting, sign up for the Too Angry to Clean playtest and follow it toward its 2027 launch.
Already tried either one? Tell us how your squad did in the comments. And if you’re an indie dev with a co-op game you want Pinoy gamers to see, our inbox is open.
