Windows 7 To Hit on 2009

Microsoft’s target for the release of Windows 7 shall be anytime late 2009. That’s almost 3 years after the release of their current operating system “Vista”.

Windows 7 is equipped with new features such as support for touchscreen, faster SSD read/write, improved taskbar and most of all – better hardware support that doesn’t require you to upgrade if you are already running Vista.

Your laptop will benefit from the upgrade too since Microsoft promise that Windows 7 will consume less power for around 10%.
