The MU legacy continues to grow stronger! Following its first major update last month that introduced Co-op Raids, the Artifact System, and the Trade Market, WEBZEN has just dropped another massive update for MU: Pocket Knights—and this one’s packed with growth, challenge, and Halloween vibes!
A Quick Throwback
If you’ve been following our coverage here at Pinoy Gaming Network, you’ll remember when MU: Pocket Knights’ first update revived that classic MU spirit we all loved. Players were hyped about the new ways to party up, grind, and trade—modern features that echoed the good old MU Online days when “PTP tayo!” was practically our weekend battle cry.
Now, WEBZEN is back with more content to keep the grind alive and the power-ups rolling.
Rune System: Power Up Like Never Before
The highlight of this update is the Rune System. Runes can now be earned through Explorations and used to enhance equipment stats and unlock new attributes. Think of them as your secret spice for builds—offering a ton of flexibility for strategy-focused players.
This new system is all about pushing your character beyond the limits. Whether you’re a veteran MU Online grinder or a new MU: Pocket Knights adventurer, these runes let you fine-tune your power level sa paraang ikaw ang bida ng build mo.
More Stages, More Challenges, More Loot
WEBZEN also expanded several key game modes:
- Battle now has 30 new chapters.
- Blood Castle, Square of Devil, and Maze of Dimension each got 30 new stages.
- Abyss Dungeon added 20 more levels.
That’s a lot of new content for players who’ve already conquered the earlier challenges—and a perfect excuse to keep the grind strong.
Trick or Treat Rush!
To top it all off, WEBZEN launched a Halloween-themed event called “Trick or Treat Rush!” Players can collect Halloween Candies and Pumpkins during Explorations to exchange for special rewards.
It’s the perfect seasonal event—loot with a spooky twist! And for those who love dressing up their characters, new equipment and costumes have also been added. Combine those with the new Runes, and you’ve got endless ways to flex your power and your drip.
The MU Legacy Lives On
From café raids in the early 2000s to mobile idle battles today, MU has remained part of our gaming culture. With these constant updates, WEBZEN shows it knows what its players—especially us Pinoy gamers—want: content that keeps the barkadahan alive and the adventure going.
