Eidos Interactive, developers of such games as Tomb Raider and Hitman have come to the public’s eye again. After the controversial firing of Jeff Gerstmann, a fellow editor, from Gamespot, who was fired, allegedly for giving Eidos’s Kane and Lynch game bad reviews, Eidos is at it again. Barrington Harvey, the PR firm handling Eidos has called up various games media outlets and requesting them to defer reviews that don’t reach 8.0 until Monday.
Eidos has already offended a lot of games media outlets with the Kane and Lynch stunt now they’re trying to manipulate game reviews to sell more copies of the new Tomb Raider game.
