Call of Duty season is back, mga ka-squad. Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 4 officially launches tomorrow, and if you’re planning to jump in this weekend, here’s everything you need to sort out before you drop.
When does it unlock?
The full game, including multiplayer, launches on Friday, October 23. Reports say it unlocks at midnight local time, but store listings show different times by platform. Steam, for example, lists the release at 1:00 PM PHT. Best move: check the countdown on your own platform’s store page so you’re not left refreshing at 12AM for nothing.
If you pre-ordered digitally, you’re already in. Campaign early access opened October 16, and DMZ early access followed on October 20.

- Nintendo Switch 2
PS4 and Xbox One are not supported, so it’s time to say goodbye sa last-gen consoles for this one.
How much is it?
The Standard Edition is ₱3,499 on Steam, which is actually cheaper than the US$69.99 price after conversion. The Vault Edition is US$99.99 and adds operator packs, a signature weapon collection, one season of BlackCell, and a DMZ bonus. Check your store for its local price.
Game Pass subscribers, sorry: MW4 is not on Game Pass or PC Game Pass at launch.
What’s in the game?
- Campaign: 16 missions across the Korean Peninsula, Paris, New York, and Mumbai, as Captain Price hunts down the mastermind behind a North Korean invasion. Early reviews say this is one campaign you shouldn’t skip.
- Multiplayer: the classic 6v6 experience, with more maps and modes rolling in after launch. Fan-favorite Shipment and the Halloween-ready Infected mode are among the first additions later this month.
- DMZ: the extraction mode is back, so start planning your squad now.
Season 1 for both MW4 and Warzone kicks off in early November.
Before you download
