WEBZEN has officially launched the Second Update for MU Online Season 20-2, and it’s bringing one of the most intense additions to the game yet — the Swamp of Destruction. If you’ve been looking for a reason to jump back in, this is it.
Welcome to the Swamp of Destruction
This isn’t your average new map. The Swamp of Destruction was once linked to the Swamp of Peace through a magic circle — but that connection has been severed, and what’s left is a dark, desolate hunting ground crawling with monsters powerful enough to threaten the entire continent.
This zone is built for high-level players, so expect brutal combat, overwhelming enemies, and the kind of high-risk, high-reward gameplay that makes MMORPGs worth grinding for. If you’re not quite there yet, better start farming — because this place does not mess around.
New Gear: 8th Mastery Earring — Earring of Frost
The update also introduces the Earring of Frost, the 8th Mastery Earring added to the game. It’s designed to further push your attack power to the next level, giving high-level players even more room to optimize their builds.
Alongside this, WEBZEN has adjusted the EXP curve to support faster character progression, and added a brand-new buff item called the Blessing of Eunice to help players grow more efficiently. So if leveling up has felt like a slog lately, this update should make things a whole lot smoother.
Celebration Events and Special Sales
To mark the update, WEBZEN is running a bunch of limited-time in-game events worth checking out:
- EXP Boost Events — Level up faster during the event period.
- Mastery Equipment & Accessory Enhancement Support — Get some help strengthening your gear.
