At last! After years of waiting, Diablo 3 is finally in development! If you’re a gamer, hardcore or otherwise, you’ll probably remember the Diablo titles that shook the RPG world and put a whole new twist to the genre! Dark dank corridors, fiery pits, grotesque hallways are but a few lingering images we all have of the first two games. These memories still bring my urge back to play those games years after they’ve gone out of style.
I bet we can expect the same thing from Diablo 3. There have been many changes in the game but we still see a few familiar stuff. First, the world is still “Sanctuary” a world caught between the war between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells. Still, Sanctuary is as screwed as ever. It has been 20 years since Diablo 2. The world has been saved from the Three Prime Evils Diablo, Mephisto and Baal. But, trouble looms once again in Tristram ( yung town sa Diablo 1) and it has claimed one life (na shock ako dito) Deckard Cain.
Yes mga kapatid! si old man Deckard Cain, the guy in the fountain in Diablo 1 and your traveling companion in Diablo 2 is dedo, kaput, nagsisimbang may bulak sa ilong.
Diablo 3 will feature 5 character classes. They’ve already announced the familiar Barbarian and not so familiar Witch Doctor (kung di mo kilala si Dhalsim sa Street Fighter di siya familiar yokyokyok). Weird no, may mangkukulam sa Diablo 3.
The game will run on a fully customized 3d engine designed by our perfectionists in Blizzard. It will also feature the standard singleplayer experience we have come to know and love and a new and improved (I hope) online Battle.net multiplayer mayhem.
Diablo 3’s release date is too far away from being announced. I’m willing to bet that it will not be announced until a few days before release. So keep following the blizzard site and www.pinoygaming.net for updates!

06.30.08 I was messing around with the blizzard website a few hours ago and I found this hidden in the splash page. You can see it if you use firefox and hit the refresh button before the flash on the splash page enters the word “Diablo”.
Is this a clue to what you will be fighting in Diablo 3? The ending of Diablo 2 involved killing Baal (Diablo’s multilegged brother) and the Archangel Tyrael destroying the world stone. So who is there left to fight? My bet is, you will have to fight Tyrael since Deckard Cain has always said that Tyrael has his own motivations.
Is this a hidden clue provided by Blizzard? or totally something else? Is that Tyrael?
The suspense is killing me!

If you watch the vids on diablo 2 u would know that u killed a fake bal at the end that the real one is still alive….. trust me watch n see. Also u won’t fight trael cause hes still an angel..an Archangel for that matter. BUt if blizzard plans for u to fight trael afterall hell become an fallen angel. And that weird crystal pic thingy looks like some of the worldstone is left probally not but still think bout that…
