Warhammer Skulls 2026 — Dawn of War IV, Space Marine 2, at Lahat ng Inanunsyo

For the Emperor! Warhammer Skulls 2026 just happened — and it was massive. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, this year’s showcase was nearly 50 minutes of back-to-back announcements, world premieres, release dates, and updates covering the entire Warhammer gaming universe. If you missed it, don’t worry — we’ve got the complete breakdown right here.

Kung hindi ka pamilyar sa Warhammer, think of it as one of the richest sci-fi and fantasy universes in tabletop gaming history — now with dozens of video game adaptations across every genre. And this year, the lineup is stronger than ever.

The Biggest Announcement: Dawn of War IV — September 17, 2026

This is the one everyone was waiting for. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV officially revealed its release date of September 17, 2026, launching with four playable factions — Space Marines, Orks, Necrons, and Adeptus Mechanicus.

Developed by King Art Games and published by Deep Silver, Dawn of War IV marks a return to the planet Kronus years after the events of Dark Crusade. Each faction has its own distinct playstyle — the Blood Ravens favor smaller conflicts requiring finesse and stealth, while the Dark Angels deploy their full battlefield might.

A 9-month post-launch roadmap was also revealed, including a new Level Editor, the return of Crusade Mode, a Blood Ravens prologue DLC, and an Aftermath expansion that introduces a 5th playable faction — fully integrated into all existing game modes.

For strategy game fans, this is the biggest news of the showcase. Those who pre-order the Commander Edition can start playing three days early on September 14. Pre-orders are now live.

Why it matters: The original Dawn of War series is considered one of the greatest real-time strategy franchises ever made. After years of absence, its return is a massive deal for the RTS community — at para sa mga Pinoy PC gamers na lumaki sa Dawn of War, ito ang pinakamasayang balita ngayon.

Space Marine 2 — Purgation Update Drops Today

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 launched a brand new free update — including the new ‘Purgation’ Operation for PVE mode, a new weapon with the Bolt Carbine sidearm and variants for many other weapons, 6 new armour pieces, and a brand new Battle-Barge Hall Practice arena, plus a big update to Siege mode.

The best part? Year 2 of Space Marine 2 continues with the next free update — adding Heroic variants for Bolt Carbine, Power Axe, Chainsword, Plasma Pistol, and more. This is all free for existing players — no additional purchase required. If you own Space Marine 2, log in and download the update now.

Why it matters: Space Marine 2 was one of the best co-op games of 2024, and Saber Interactive has kept delivering quality free content. Kung nag-enjoy ka dito noon, may bagong dahilan na para bumalik.

Darktide — New Skitarii Class Coming June 23

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide unveiled the long-awaited Skitarii playable class — the leading mechanised combatants of the Adeptus Mechanicus. The class launches on June 23, 2026, priced at $11.99.

The Skitarii class will be able to play many roles depending on the skill tree path players follow — making it one of the most versatile additions to the game yet. For fans of the Adeptus Mechanicus lore, this is a long-overdue addition.

Rogue Trader — The Infinite Museion DLC Coming June 11

Expanding on the previous Owlcat RPG, The Infinite Museion DLC will bring the collectathon-obsessed Necrons into the mix of Rogue Trader when it launches on June 11. The DLC focuses heavily on mysterious Necron archives and ancient technology — perfect for players who want more of Owlcat’s deep, story-driven RPG experience in the 40K universe.

There’s also a Collector’s Edition featuring a Kroot statue for those who want physical memorabilia.

Dark Heresy — Closed Beta Now Open

Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy received both a beta gameplay trailer and a Collector’s Edition trailer at the showcase. Players can become an acolyte of the Inquisition in this grimdark, party-based, story-driven cRPG — leading investigations, uncovering grand conspiracies, mastering tactical combat, and waging a secret war against heresy.

The studio has shared that the game is now in a closed beta testing phase, which will run right through until launch. If you’re into deep narrative RPGs with tactical combat — think Baldur’s Gate meets Warhammer 40K — this is one to watch closely.

Mechanicus II — Available Right Now

Skulls 2026 offered a nice surprise — Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II was announced as available immediately. The game features two fully playable narrative campaigns, one for the Adeptus Mechanicus and one for the newly awakened Necrons.

Mechanicus II released today on Xbox — so if you’re an Xbox player and a fan of the original, it’s available right now.

Speed Freeks — Now on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S

The vehicular combat game Speed Freeks has jumped from PC to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, launching today with cross-play support across all three systems. A new level editor and workshop are also included, already bustling with custom maps and races.

If you enjoy chaotic Ork vehicle combat — basically Mario Kart but grimdark and violent — Speed Freeks on console is now an option. And with cross-play live from day one, the player pool is nice and healthy.

Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch — New Turn-Based Tactical Game Announced

Following on from Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, Deathwatch brings more turn-based tactical battling action to the table. Details are still limited, but for fans of the Chaos Gate style of gameplay, this is an exciting new entry in that tactical RPG lineage.
