If you pre-ordered 007 First Light, oras na. The Deluxe Edition’s 24-hour early access started today, May 26, at 7AM PT — which means it’s already unlocked for Pinoy players as of tonight.
The good news: players who pre-ordered the standard edition are automatically getting a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition, so walang mawawala sa inyo. Early access, libre.
The game itself is an origin story — you play as a young, resourceful, and sometimes reckless James Bond as a recruit in MI6’s training program. Think less suave superspy, more “bata pa si Bond at marami pa siyang pagkakamali.” The game is developed and published by IO Interactive — the same studio behind the Hitman series, so expect a mix of stealth, action, and multiple ways to approach every mission.
The official global launch follows tomorrow, May 27, at 7AM PT for everyone else.
007 First Light is available on PlayStation 5, though Nintendo Switch 2 players will have to wait a bit longer — IO Interactive confirmed it’s arriving “later this summer” on that platform.
